Schools fundraising

We are trying to raise awareness of our work in our community so are looking for schools to work in partnership with. We feel it is incredibly important to support children and young people to understand more about people with learning disabilities and autism of all ages so that they can help them be seen, accepted and valued in our society.

Charity of the Year

If you are thinking about your next Charity of the Year then we would love you to choose PIP.

The PIP Mountain Bike Challenge School Relay – 9th – 13th October 2017

Each October we hold our biggest fundraiser of the year – The PIP Mountain Bike Challenge – a 20 mile mountain bike ride in Henley on Thames.  The week before the event – 9th to 13th October 2017 – we open this up to schools too by asking pupils and staff to jump on a bike and complete laps of the playground, sports hall or field until you collectively reach 20 miles. You can split the challenge across classes and pupils can either raise sponsorship individually or arrange other ways to raise money for PIP.  It’s a great way to get out in the fresh air and work together as a team to reach a goal.PIP-MBC17-logo-vector-01 - 200

School Assembly

If your school supports us with fundraising we can offer someone from our team to come and talk at one of your school assemblies.  We have lots of great videos to help bring the talk to life, which are very accessible for a younger audience to explain how we help people with learning disabilities develop and achieve their potential.
