Schools fundraising

We are trying to raise awareness of our work in our community so are looking for schools to work in partnership with. We feel it is incredibly important to support children and young people to understand more about people with learning disabilities and autism of all ages so that they can help them be seen, accepted and valued in our society.

Charity of the Year

If you are thinking about your next Charity of the Year then we would love you to choose PiP! We have lots of ideas and resources for schools and would be delighted to speak to you about how we can work together!

Please contact Claire our Events and Community Fundraiser to discuss this further on 020 8960 4004 or claireg@piponline.org.uk

PiP Mountain Bike Challenge School Relay – October/November every year

We are regret to inform that we are postponing this year’s MBC due to some logistical issues. But the PiP signature event will be back in 2020. Before the event, we partner with schools, asking pupils and staff to jump on a bike and complete laps of the playground, sports hall or field until you collectively reach 20 miles. You can split the challenge across classes and pupils can either raise sponsorship individually or arrange other ways to raise money for PIP.  It’s a great way to get out in the fresh air and work together as a team to reach a goal

Please email claireg@piponline.org.uk for more information about holding a PiP Mountain Bike Challenge School Relay in 2020.

School Assembly

If your school supports us with fundraising we can offer someone from our team to come and talk at one of your school assemblies.  We have lots of great videos to help bring the talk to life, which are very accessible for a younger audience to explain how we help people with learning disabilities develop and achieve their potential.
