PiP celebrates Autism Acceptance Week by showcasing the skills and talents of our neurodiverse students.

This week we highlighted the diverse ways that our autistic students communicate and participate in their community.  You should know about:

Jade – one of PiP’s skilled artists and a Fruitful Trainee who is currently on work experience at British Land as a Trainee Office Assistant.

Declan – a geography whizz who took part in a ‘name that flag’ test for us here.

Shardonnay – who hosted our Autism Acceptance webinar. Shardonnay has many paid and voluntary roles including working with The Advocacy Project, speaking up for other people with learning disabilities and autism.  Shadonnay presented about herself, what she has achieved and what her life is like with autism.  You can hear directly from Shardonnay below.

Thank you to everyone who supported our events this week.

You can get involved in more PiP online events at our Eventbrite page  here
