PiP COVID-19 update

As lockdown restrictions ease, PiP will be operating it’s own roadmap to gradually welcome all students back to PiP in a safe way.

Although it is Freedom Day, we will be keeping all our current health and safety measures in place as we monitor the situation.

During this time, we are offering our students and our community:

  • Small group sessions at our W9 or SW1 centre in socially distanced Bubbles.
  • Community-based activities such as Walk This May, gardening and when we can pop up again, Fruitful!
  • Just Sing is an after-hours singing and music social for students and community members. Tuesdays 6-7pm.
  • A choice of online sessions every week – please note this is reducing as we increase in-person attendance at PiP.
  • The opportunity to keep in contact with their keyworkers through video meetings, phone calls, emails and texts.
  • Virtual parents evenings; so we can understand how to best support families and carers during this difficult time.
  • Virtual volunteering opportunities for our partners and supporters so they can share their experiences with our students and learn more about learning disabilities and autism. To find out more and see our next events, please visit our Eventbrite page.

Resources for families and carers

PiP recognises that these are challenging times for parents and carers and that it is important to keep informed and look after our wellbeing. We have put together a list of useful information and resources which we hope are helpful at this time. For more activities ideas, please do reach out to your PiP Key Worker.
